argh! my toes are so cold right now. but i dont want to put socks on in case i fall asleep. i cant stand to sleep with socks on. i feel so restricted lol. anyhoot!
so im just sittin on the sofa. preparing for a long day tomorrow. it's superbowl! not to mention i got a lot of homework i need to do. me and the mister were out today for about 4 to 5 hours. we got a phone for the place and a system for the tv. now it makes plenty of noise that i can use against the neighbors who play their music ridiculously loud everyday around the same time. smh. i know i should have asked them to turn it down. but you never know with some people. we got home and cleaned the place up. he vacuumed and whatnot. i cleaned our room. he was trying to wash the dishes but tell me why they damn knob just basically exploded off and now the water wont cut off. we called maintenance 2 hrs ago. the emergency line. smh. WHERE ARE THEY?! of course we would be in the unit no one had occupied for a whiiile. the mail lady had told us no one had been here for a while. well imma need them to pretend like people were still here and come tend to us ASAP.
on a much lighter note, i scored myself an interview for wednesday at our school's help desk. hope i can get that job. need it baaaddd. babe has got to teach me everything he knowssss. [seeing as it's what he does for a living] i also went to pay my dentist bill, that i didnt expect to come... but the lady told me to wait to pay it because i had a credit on there and she aint want me to pay and then have to wait for a refund.. lord knows how me an gettin refunds dont get down at first.
moving on. we went to his little sister's talent show last night and she sang Corrine Bailey Rae's song Like a Bird. OMG! that little girl/young teen has a voice on her. sheee can siiing =] i was so proud. and the other acts. smh. one boy was killing that electric guitar tho. one dude was a beeeast at juggling. and some of the girls looked like prostitutes. smh. they start soo young. anywayyyy
i will close by saying;; i love Baby Mac [aka my macbook] and i am going to get a leopard skin for herrr. and a new phone off of ebay still. =]

yay! so I am a proud MacBook owner now.
I call her Baby Mac! I looooove it. Im still trying to figure everything out though. I want one of those skin things for it, but i want a leopard one. can someone point me in the right direction?
Moving on. Atlanta was this past weekend. It was okay, but I couldn't wait til I got home. I definitely missed my better half seanypoo! i knew I would but i believe i did more than i thought. We did make our way into a 21 and up club. lol. tho we have months before we can add that one to our two.

LITTLE BIG PRESIDENT
I am soon to have a Macbook. woo hooo. and only have to pay about 400 for my share of it. thank you jesus! i'm still waiting on my money to get deposited into my account. I need a few school books ASAP! like tomorrow. lol. So if it is in tomorrow, i'm going to cop those.
but oh man. Inauguration tomorrow! wow. and in one of my classes we're watching it and in the other he's cancelling class because some of us will be there or in the lab watchin it but he's allowing us to watch it at home. YAY! it's gonna be hectic tomorrow. plenty of traffic probably, even tho it's in DC. i am definitely sad that i wasnt able to get tickets. wanted to be there. but nonetheless;; my vote helped him get in. GO OBAMA! Rockin my obama tee tomorrow.
WOW so I am such a fan of LBP [little big planet] as you can tell from previous posts. well you can make your own levels on there too! and i did that today for the second time. it took too many hours for me to make that rinky dink level. smh and i just sit and play all the ones from other people and be jealous because they really are quite intricate. i can only imagine the ENTIRE day or DAYS they used to make it. * i just got a genius idea for a level!! omg. save the president! omg i can have obama riding in a like blacked out ride and ish, smh. wow. such a fan. I would be like secret serviceeeee! woot woot.
anyways. my knee is healing nicely and yet i still bang it up sometimes on like the table or a chair or something totally random. wish it had never happened. and this weekend im goin to ATL for the battle of the bands. pretty excited. haven't been out in a while or to an event like that. i soooo miss marching band. =[ hope babe will be okay here alone. lol. sure he will. he has his SOCOM to play. but i'll be leaving him thursday and not coming back until sunday. needless to say i havent been without seeing him for more than a day and a half at a time in a VERY long time. smh. call me a loser if you want.

What a Day.
So yeah. Got to sleep in laaaate! Joy. And when I woke up, I fixed breakfast for us. We sat around for the longest time just playing video games. I lost my phone in the sofa somewhere last night and didn't get it back til this morning. It was dead so when I charged it all these texts came in and one was from a girl i work with. she randomly was like so-n-so didnt come in. i was like uhhhhh ok? so it's like an hour later im like maybe she just late. she goes she still not here. i was like sorry buddy cant help you there. then she's like she's leaving at 1 or whatever cause she won't feeling well. the other girl came in and called me and was like yeah shorty girl never showed up, could i come in from like 4 - 7 or something. NO. One i'm here at my place and got to come down to work tomorrow too. but i had a few things to take care of. but not even that cause i could have possibly covered, if i was aware of the time lol. but still my thing is this, i asked our manager/supervisor for hours on sat. and i didnt get them. guess you aint need me? but yet this same girl has not come twice already whether she just aint show or called in or something. been there a couple of months and getting more hours than me. i'm working on my 3rd year and have only called out twice. once in 06 or 07 cause i was stranded at college with no ride and the second was recently when i fell and jacked my knee all up and even then i took proof from the doctor people that they saw me that day for that! or if i worse comes to worse i switch shifts with someone. so i mean like come on. not to say people can't call in. but they have been pretty close in time and even the manager said something about it to me b4. like this her second time not coming. and like when closing girl came in to relieve the one who opemed, she was like the girl said she had called or whatever. how true that is i dont know because apparently the people in hr or whatever aint let the ones on the floor know. otherwise they would have been prepared. smh. anywhoooo. this may not seem problematic to you all but i guess what i'm tryin to get at is yes i may need hours but why not give them to the dependable been there the longest one when i say i can work? rather than wait til you need me cause the person you gave them to doesn't show? it's kinda hard for me to just drop my plans all of a sudden. moving on
how the hell does a library book break?! wtf? i have this mini proj assignment type thing to do for my class on tues which requires me finding an ad and scanning and printing a copy to bring to class. so i went to the library. in there about an hour searching and what not. find the perfect one, take iit to the scanner to get my copy and what do you know? out of order. go to the other one on 3rd floor and it says i dont have enough funds. smh. so i check it out and babe and i leave to go get food and go home. the damn book falls in the floor in the car and breaks! well tears. WHATEVER. it was a hardback book. and either it's old or it's cold. smh. it had to have fallen just right on the corner cause the front cover breaks away from the binding and the back is beginning too. but all the pages are intact. smh. i don't need them to charge me for this too!! shht happens. blah. i'm just frustrated that the most random things happen to me. RANDOM AS HELL.
i still have more work to do that requires outside research and i havent done that either. at least it's about a restaurant. i'm going and gonna get a nice meal and ask them all sorts of questions. and wow yeah. idk wat else to say. my mind is so everywhere right now. babe bought me McDonald's to cheer me up. HAHAHAHA. Sad right? he must know food makes me happy.
I had some good points today though. my sister came over and chilled for a while. just us and our sisters. how family-like. i got some partial work done for school. guess that's better than none. i did tho hit my messed up knee a few times. that sucked. =x
man. and i figured out how im splittin my refund money from school. basically half for rent and the rest goes to bills, laptop stuff, my phone off ebay, and I AM GETTING A DAMN BETSEY JOHNSON OVERNIGHT BAG/WEEKENDER. i think i deserve it. and something for babe. cause he deserves it tooo.
ok im down now. gonna watch him play socom and rub my knee.

And I'm definitely meaning to toot my own horn. SMH. I never cooked before until last year. And that was because I made like some spaghetti and hamburger helper. But yoooo, I put it down on some barbecued chicken tonight. [DIDSZ! I'll cook for you definitely. As long as I got groceries =) ] Wooo hooo. Babe's lil sister stayed with us tonight. So of course we killed it on some LBPeezy [Little Big Planet]. We got our sexy sofa up in this piece too! yay for that. it's so homeyyyy now.
AND school FINALLY got my money right. YES! no more concerns and beggin my love for his bucks. hahaha. School books here I come. And software/programs from my laptop when i get that. new phone again. rent! bills! pay for ish for my <3 since he always look out for me. smh. im like soooooooo happy. very very very thankful. i couldn't get over it. the power of prayer. and persistence. cause i stayed on them about my bill and what not.

I guess I'm not as cooking illiterate as i thought!! Since moving, I have whipped up quite a few tasty meals. Last night was steak and potatoes!!! yummmmmmm

salad. noodles covered with chicken i fixed in the skillet, seasoned with some parmesean herb seasoning and parmesean sauce topped with an italian mix of shredded cheese. woot woot!
anyhoot! now i'mma have a class with babe. how exciting =] dropping my hist 104 that's at 930 so i can take it at 7. teacher seems a lot nicer and easier.

UNBELIEVE-able
WOW. So It's still very official that I am addicted to the internet;; well these damn social community sites. Good reads tho. Anyhoooo.
So after my first day of class [yesterday] my 11-1215 Masc 204 teacher warned me that having a MAC would be necessary for me and my future in Creative Advertising. WTF?! Don't get me wrong, I wanted a MAC before but your typical PC was always so much more affordable. And with mine dying on me before the summer of last year, it was high time i needed one. Luckily, the Sony Vaio I kept seeing stayed out of stock just when my aunt was ready to get it [it was pretty cheap to be a Vaio]. So I'm definitely glad I got a confirmation from my teacher about needing the MAC. My friend had mentioned it before and was saying how much it was running her to get it all programmed and what not. HA! So I've settled on a basic Macbook that's running me 949. Gonna get the 3 yr protection plan for 183. and yeah. that's what my aunts will be puttin in on since one is charging it to her card, and i'll be paying monthly on it. THEN, i still need microsoft office for it. which i've seen the 2008 Mac version Media Edition on eBAY for a pretty affordable price. then, all the programs I need for when I get into my later Creative Advertising classes will be costing bank. luckily i can get the hook up with my teacher. THANK YOU! So now that I know what I'll be doing with the laptop situation, I'm not to stressed anymore. Plus I'm not in too much of a rush since i dont necessarily need it for any of my 3 masc classes now. one of my classes is in our MAC lab so I'm gonna be getting very familiar with it.
Moving on;; school STILL need to update my damn account. If it has been, they ain't contacted me!! smh. i need that money. ONE- for books. TWO- for our place. THREE- this macbook. and FOUR- I still want a damn phone. a new one anyway. smh. not that i NEED it but i'd like to treat myself to something new.
anyhow. we get our sofa friday.. WOOT WOOT. No more lawn chairs. lmfao. tho they are very comfy. our place is almost 100% pulled together. still need to put things away but we're getting there. no extra time with school starting back up and work. not that im getting many hours. i applied for some more jobs. and a paid intern with Media General. Hope they call me. I NEED A JOB SERIOUSLY. Buuuut let me not dwell on the negative. I'm more than likely getting my school books from the library until I get money to order them off of eBAY and Amazon and Chegg.com. Like class starts for me at 9:30 in the am. Basically 9 hours from now. I have to read for one class and do some quick HW for another. hopefully I get it done. I want to start off on the right foot. I did good last semester, apparently not as much as I should have. BUT WHATEVER. This one will be better;; I HOPE.

Long Time.... Eh?
OMG! It has been so long. So yeah. Living on your own is pretty cool. And I decided it was time for a blog about my early experiences. Well actually, I'm in the library at school because Comcast was f'in with us so we won't have our Verizon internet until monday. Boooo! Anyhooooo.
We had a problem with our kitchen sink and what not that took a few days to get fixed. It caused a leak under our carpet which messed our floor up some. SMH. The cause= some neighbors. Pouring grease down the sink. How I love my black people. YOU KNOW BETTER. SMH. Not only that. There is a slight problem with our gas stove cause you can smell it. Need to get that handled. Other than that, it's all good. Decorated nicely and is our home sweet home.
Now we bought REAL groceries for the first time yesterday. spent a whopping 111. lol. got some good ish though. oh how i'll enjoy home cooked meals of my own. Still need a job though. We not married yet. He can't be supporting me forever lol. but it's all good. I handle things when I got my bank roll!
Oh and classes start for me tomorrow. these hooligans STILL aint took housing off my bill so my financial aid went through to pay for that INSTEAD of tuition. how unbelievable. They shall get call number 3 from me tomorrow. It's priority. And I'm having some slight issues with my job. They cut hours and now talkin about cutting people who slacking on getting credit. I'm not about to butcher someone to get a damn credit card with us. are you serious?! no one can handle that shht right now. that's RIDICULOUS to judge me on that. I'm a damn good associate. Get your shht together people. Anyway.
Grrr I fell on the sidewalk a week ago in the rain on the metal grate and f'd my knee all up. it's still sore and healing but better than when i was limping everywhere. womp womp. [may have wrote about it before. its been that long that i dont remember]

Me & Babe do. yay! Yesterday we went and signed the lease and all. Got our keys. We are on our own now! His mom aka my other mother bought us quite a few things. My mom got us some stuff too. This weekend we are on a mission to get a futon, desk, and a few other things. omg. I am just overly excited.
We went to his friend's place yesterday for new year's. it was cool. i think we'll be going up there often. and they'll be visiting often lol.
anyhooooo God couldn't have blessed me better for a great 08 ending and a great 09 beginning.
